Alma Bottlebrush on Wine

Inspired by the Alma Bottlebrush in my front yard, these blooms are usually a beautiful pink in colour, but their structure just lends itself so well to line drawing I couldn’t resist! The wine colour compliments the graphic black and white, showing the Alma flower opening out for the first time this spring.
